Corporate Mental Health Support That Actually Works
Wave Therapy partners with organizations as an embedded mental health advisor. Corporate mental health workshops, manager training, leadership consulting, and ongoing advisory for companies that want more than an EAP. Available on site or virtually nationwide.
No pitch. No commitment. Just a conversation about what support could look like with Wave Therapy.
95% of Your Workforce Is Not Using the Mental Health Support You Are Paying For
The average EAP utilization rate is 3-5%. Your employees call a 1-800 number, get matched with a random provider who knows nothing about your company, sit through 3-6 sessions, and never call back. Meanwhile, employee burnout, turnover, and disengagement keep climbing. The support exists on paper. It does not work in practice.
This is not a therapy problem. It is a structural one. Your organization needs an alternative to traditional employee assistance programs that actually reaches your people where they are.
The Cost of Doing Nothing
Replacing a salaried employee costs 6-9 months of their salary (SHRM). For a $90K role, that is $45,000-$67,500 per departure.
Burnout-related absenteeism costs U.S. employers an estimated $3,400 per employee annually (Gallup).
Companies with strong wellbeing programs see 21% higher productivity and 41% lower absenteeism (Gallup).
For every $1 invested in workplace mental health, organizations see an average return of $4 in improved productivity and reduced costs (WHO).
A single retained departure pays for a full year of advisory. This is not a soft investment. It is risk mitigation with a measurable return.
An Embedded Mental Health Advisor Who Actually Knows Your Company
Wave Therapy works with organizations as a dedicated corporate mental health consultant, not an anonymous hotline. I learn your culture, understand your challenges, and build a relationship with your leadership team so that when your people need support, it comes from someone who actually gets it.
This is not a replacement for your EAP. It is the layer above it. The proactive, strategic, human side of corporate mental health programs that most organizations are missing.
How It Works
Discovery: We start with a conversation about where your organization is right now. What is going well, what is creating friction, and where your people are struggling. No surveys, no audits. A real conversation.
Custom Engagement: Based on what I learn, I build a tailored advisory plan. This could include corporate mental health workshops, manager training, leadership consulting, change management support, or a combination. Every engagement is different because every organization is different.
Ongoing Relationship: I stay embedded. Monthly check-ins with leadership. Quarterly workshops. Direct access for emerging situations. Your team knows who I am and how to reach me. That alone changes everything.
What Teams Are Saying
“Most mental health vendors hand you a pamphlet and a phone number. Jeff sat down with our managers, learned what they were actually dealing with during a brutal market cycle, and built a program around it. Our retention improved. Our team engagement scores went up. And our agents finally have someone they trust.”
“We had an EAP. Nobody used it. Jeff became the person our team actually talks to. He understands our business, knows our people, and shows up before things become a crisis. That is what real employee support looks like.”
“After a round of layoffs, we brought Jeff in to support our remaining team. What started as crisis response turned into an ongoing advisory relationship that has fundamentally changed how our leadership handles pressure and communicates through change.”

Corporate Mental Health Workshops
Interactive, practical workshops for teams navigating high-pressure periods. Topics include managing stress without losing performance, communicating under pressure, building psychological safety in the workplace, and navigating change with resilience. Built on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) frameworks. Available as a single session, series, or ongoing program.
Mental Health Training for Managers
Your managers are not therapists, but they are the first line of contact when someone is struggling. I provide workplace mental health training for managers to recognize signs of burnout, have difficult conversations, set healthy boundaries, and support their teams without overextending themselves. This is one of the most requested corporate mental health training programs we offer.
Workplace Mental Health Speaker
Looking for a mental health speaker for your workplace event, all-hands meeting, or leadership offsite? I bring real clinical expertise and real corporate experience to the stage. Topics range from preventing employee burnout to building psychological safety to navigating organizational change. Available for lunch-and-learns, keynotes, panel discussions, and team events. In person or virtual, anywhere in the country.
Leadership Consulting
Executives and senior leaders carry weight that most people never see. I work one-on-one and with leadership teams to help them lead from a grounded place, managing pressure, navigating conflict, and making decisions that align with both business goals and human values.
Change Management Support
Layoffs, mergers, restructuring, leadership transitions. When your organization goes through change, your people need more than an email from HR. I work directly with leadership and affected teams to help people process what is happening, reduce uncertainty, and maintain trust during transitions.
Crisis Response + Employee Referral
When something happens, a critical incident, a sudden loss, a public crisis, your team needs immediate, skilled support. I am available for on-site or virtual crisis response within 24 hours. When individual employees need ongoing therapy beyond workplace support, I connect them with the right provider through Wave Therapy or my referral network.
What This Looks Like in Practice
Who We Work With
Wave Therapy's organizational advisory is built for companies that recognize mental health is not a perk. It is infrastructure. We work with:
Tech companies and startups navigating rapid growth, high performance expectations, and the pressure of building something new.
Healthcare organizations where burnout, compassion fatigue, and emotional intensity are part of the daily reality.
Companies going through change: mergers, acquisitions, layoffs, leadership transitions, or cultural shifts.
Construction, engineering, and field-based industries where mental health is underserved and stigma is high.
Teams navigating AI adoption and automation. The fear of being replaced isn't hypothetical anymore. We help organizations address AI anxiety in the workplace head-on, supporting employees through the uncertainty of automation, role shifts, and the mental health toll of rapid technological change.
Any organization that wants to move beyond a check-the-box EAP and invest in a corporate employee wellness program that actually works.
We work with companies ranging from 50 to 5,000+ employees across the United States. On-site and virtual engagements available nationwide.
Meet Your Advisor
Jeff Hudson, MA, LPCC
Before becoming a clinician, I spent years inside the environments I now serve: startups, marketing, leadership, and high-pressure roles. I understand the pace, the politics, and the pressure because I have lived it.
Today, I combine that firsthand experience with graduate-level clinical training to help organizations support their people through change, stress, and growth. I am not a corporate wellness vendor reading from a script. I am a licensed clinician who has sat in the same rooms your people sit in, dealt with the same pressures, and understands what it actually takes to build a workplace where people perform without burning out.
I am not a consultant who shows up with a slide deck and disappears. I am an embedded advisor who builds real relationships with your leadership team and becomes a trusted resource your people actually use.
Based in Denver, Colorado. Available on-site or virtually nationwide.
Getting Started Is Simple
Step 1: Book a Discovery Call. 30 minutes to understand where your organization is and what support could look like. No commitment, no pitch.
Step 2: Get a Custom Proposal. Based on what I learn, I put together a tailored advisory plan with specific services, scope, and pricing that fits your organization.
Step 3: Build a Healthier Team. We begin working together. Monthly advisory, corporate mental health workshops, manager training, and direct access for your team. Support that actually shows up when it matters.
FAQs
An EAP is reactive and anonymous. Employees call a number and get matched with a random provider. This is a proactive, embedded alternative to traditional employee assistance programs. I become a known, trusted resource within your organization, someone who understands your culture and can support your people before things reach a crisis point.
How is this different from an EAP?
I work with organizations ranging from 50 to 5,000+ employees. The engagement model scales based on company size and needs. Smaller companies might work with me on a lighter advisory basis, while larger organizations may want on-site corporate mental health workshops, manager training, and ongoing leadership consulting.
What size companies do you work with?
Advisory engagements are structured as monthly retainers, not per-session billing. Pricing depends on the scope of services and size of your organization. I am happy to discuss specifics on a discovery call.
What does this cost?
My organizational work focuses on advisory, training, and group support. If individual employees need ongoing therapy, I can see them through Wave Therapy's individual practice or refer them to a specialist in my network. The two services complement each other but operate separately.
Do you provide therapy to individual employees?
Yes. I am based in Denver, Colorado but work with organizations across the country. Virtual advisory, corporate mental health workshops, mental health training for managers, and consulting engagements are all available nationwide. Many of our organizational clients work with us entirely virtually. On-site engagements are available anywhere in the U.S.
Do you work with companies nationwide?
I have particular experience with tech, healthcare, construction, finance, and high-growth startups. That said, the core challenges (employee burnout, change, leadership pressure, psychological safety in the workplace) are universal. If your people are under pressure, we can help.
What industries do you specialize in?
Yes. I speak at corporate events, leadership offsites, all-hands meetings, and lunch-and-learns on topics including burnout prevention, building psychological safety, navigating change, and mental health awareness in the workplace. Available in person or virtually, anywhere in the country.
